Gold and Diamonds!

So I have had these tiny cube diamonds that I have. There a bit hard to work with. Since they are 2mm. So making prongs is going to be a bit hard. Hmmm. Working on designs for them.

Side project: white gold wedding bands. Excited to be working on a commission for my parents for their 25th anniversary of marriage. I'm excited to have Stephen helped me on this. Don't want them to go array now.

So many things to do. Ahhh.

Wax

So just because we have no school doesn't mean I haven't been working on my projects. Currently working on my wax wire pendant for my exhibition. Excited and nervous to see how it casts.

Leaf ring and head piece

Working on my tiny little wax leaf carvings for a ring for my mother's wedding anniversary and the big leaf for my headpiece brooch or comb. Got several to go.

Ocean and Land Fungi mixed

Lately I been working on my pieces for my senior exhibition. These will be a pair of earrings in which I want to incorporate gold some where. I been researching online on the technique keum boo. It seems interesting but also a tad challenging. I'm waiting to get my gold to start this process. I'm super excited. Going to start making my other pendant similar to the photos below as they will be a set of two.

Dean's Gallery

So these two pieces went to the Dean's Gallery. Going to miss them. Hopefully I can use them in my show this may. Booked the Bacon Gallery for May 4 till May 8. Excited but also a tad nervous. Got to get going on making my pieces.
